Draw Comfort From The Earth

A ground source heat pump is the highest efficiency heating and cooling system available because it uses a renewable energy source -- the earth.  With this system, a network of durable plastic coils is buried deep in the ground and absorbs the earth's heat energy.  A heat pump, which is connected to the coils, extracts that energy and converts it into heat that is transferred into the home.

At the flip of a switch, the process can be reversed to cool your home.  It is a long-lasting, low-maintenance system designed to meet 100 percent of your heating and cooling needs.  It is three times more efficient than the highest efficiency gas furnace and there is no threat of harmful gas emissions such as carbon monoxide, giving you superior indoor air quality.

Geothermal heating moves heat rather than creating heat, therefore geothermal systems are extrememly efficient.  It is 400% efficient. For every $1 you spend, you get $4 worth of heat.  You need to purchase LP gas for $.47 per gallon or natural gas for $.51 per ccf to equal operating cost of a Ground Source Heat Pump.
