Frequently asked questions about Home Compass partnerships
Are there hidden fees with this program?
No. Our pricing is all-inclusive. Unlike an arrangement with a contractor, you will never be charged by us for changes or upgrades to your project.
How involved will I need to be?
Aside from the normal time committments any new home buyer has, you can expect to spend an hour or two per day, and maybe a bit more on occasion. Remember, you're simply coordinating the contractors that work for you, not doing the actual work yourself.
Are there any easy ways to save more?
Yes. You can always opt to take on some of the labor yourself, such as insulating, painting, or installing flooring. "Sweat equity" is a great way to build more value into your home, but is not required when partnered with Home Compass Consultants.
What if I can't finish the project or find it's not for me?
We have every intention to help you complete your project on time and within your budget. If something changes, and you simply don't feel able to continue as the project's manager, Art Buhs Construction is available to assume responsibility.
